Wedding Favors – What the Art Reveals

January 01, 2012 0 Comments Wedding General by Administrator

Most people put a lot of effort into the preparations for their weddings because they rightfully understand that their guests will read a lot into the arrangements that they have made for the big day. Everything from the wedding invitations to the menu and the décor says a lot about the bridal couple and also about the esteem in which they hold their guests. Even the choice of wedding favors or bonbonnieres as they are also known, tells guests about the amount of trouble that has been taken to plan the entire event.

If you are busy planning for your big day you need to always remember that the things you do reveal a lot about you as a couple. For starters, you will be able to display your sense of style and personal preferences on this important day. You ought to choose a theme for the wedding that highlights something special that the two of you share as a couple. In fact, you’ll actually find it quite easy to select wedding invitations, menu and décor once you finalize your theme. Your guests will also love to see what bonbonnieres you have selected if you are known for your good taste.

Your choice of wedding favors will also tell your guests how happy you are to see them. For this you’ll have to put a lot of thought into selecting something that you know they will like. Many people buy the first things they see in a catalogue, irrespective of whether their guests might even like them or not. If you are a thoughtful person you would buy favors that can be used in more than one way so that your guests can use them in any way they want. For instance, coasters should be able to be used as photo frames. Similarly, if you are gifting them chocolates or sugared almonds you should consider placing them in boxes that can later on be used for storing jewelry or knickknacks.

You can be sure that guests will remember your wedding for a long time to come if they go back with a pleasant experience and also the best possible wedding favors. You should therefore put a lot of thought into what you plan to gift them. If you do not take the required amount of trouble your guests will not feel that their presence at your wedding was valued.

It is a mistake to assume that you have to spend a great deal of money while selecting wedding invitations, bonbonnieres or the like in order to make your wedding special. Expensive things are undoubtedly nice but you can also impress your friends and family members with your thoughtfulness without having to spend a lot of money. If you do a simple thing such as leaving handwritten notes near each wedding favor your guests will be really touched. Therefore you should make arrangements carefully so that your guests go back feeling happy that they were a part of your special day.
