Invitation Chateau will only supply goods to the Purchaser on the following terms and conditions set out below, unless Invitation Chateau agrees, in writing, to vary these Terms and Conditions:
Purchaser means any party contracting for the supply of products by Invitation Chateau.
Website means www.invitationchateau.com.au
Minimum Order Quantity
Purchases from Invitation Chateau must be for the minimum order quantity ("MOQ") specified for the product displayed on the Website, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Invitation Chateau. Invitation Chateau retains the right to vary MOQ requirements and prices of products displayed on the Website for quantities that are below the MOQ in its absolute discretion.
Electronic mock ups
Please understand that in no circumstances will Invitation Chateau make a physical personalised sample invitation for the Purchaser's approval as the costs involved to do this are too prohibitive. If the Purchaser is purchasing hard cover wedding invitations from Invitation Chateau, electronic mock ups of the Purchaser's hard cover invitation design will be forwarded to the Purchaser via email for the Purchaser to review approximately 1 week after the Purchaser's full payment on the total order cost has been received by Invitation Chateau and the Purchaser's completed invitation wording template has been returned to Invitation Chateau, whichever is the latter.
Three alterations to the wording and layout of the electronic mock ups can be requested by the Purchaser before an alteration surcharge per alteration is applied. Accordingly, the Purchaser should ensure that the required invitation design concepts and invitation wording submited to Invitation Chateau are as final as possible. Once the Purchaser approves the electronic mock ups, no further alterations can be made to the invitation design, wording or quantity and the invitations will be made as per the approved electronic mock ups. Production of the actual invitations are based solely on the final approved electronic mock ups.
Payment of any outstanding amounts is required once the Purchaser approves the electronic mock ups and prior to Invitation Chateau physically making the invitations. Under no circumstances will Invitation Chateau begin to physically make the invitations prior to full payment of the order being received.
Invitation Chateau takes no responsibility if the products are used in an inappropriate way and will not be liable to damage to finished products.
Damaged or lost goods
Invitation Chateau carefully checks all goods prior to dispatch. Invitation Chateau does not accept any responsibility for damages to the invites or loss of invites arising from third party courier transit. The Purchaser must advise Invitation Chateau if they wish to purchase insurance from Australia Post regarding any postage of the purchased goods to the Purchaser, prior to placing an order with Invitation Chateau.
Any errors/damages in respect of orders which are solely caused by Invitation Chateau will be re-made free of charge, which is what Invitation Chateau's total liability to the Purchaser is limited to and no refunds will be provided by Invitation Chateau. The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that Invitation Chateau requires approximately 3 months to re-make any order. Accordingly, it is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure that when placing an order with Invitation Chateau, the order is confirmed and Invitation Chateau proceed to production of the order as soon as possible and plenty of time has been allowed for the order to be re-made, if necessary. Unfortunately, errors which have been made based on the invitation wording submitted by the Purchaser or have been approved in the electronic mock ups by the Purchaser are not the responsibility of Invitation Chateau and the order will only be re-made at the Purchaser's own cost. It is the Purchaser's sole responsibility to check the electronic mock ups for typos, spacing issues, font size issues, colour issues and any other errors prior to providing approval for Invitation Chateau to physically make the invitations.
Variation in colour / finish of invitations vs electronic mockups & samples
On-screen computer monitor colours may differ slightly from the physical printed colours and Invitation Chateau takes no responsibility in this regard. Accordingly, Invitation Chateau recommends that the Purchaser purchase a physical sample of an invitation in the exact same colours that they want prior to confirming an order. If samples of an invitation in the specific colours the Purchaser wants are not available for purchase, the Purchaser orders the invitations from Invitation Chateau at his/her own risk knowing that the colours and paper texture may be different to what he/she expects.
The Purchaser also acknowledges that there will always be some variations in texture, colour and properties of the same type of paper/cardboard provided by suppliers and paper/cardboard classified as the same type and colour will not be exactly the same at any one time due to the nature of paper/cardboard stock over time. Accordingly, samples provided by Invitation Chateau to the Purchaser are only indicative of the final product the Purchaser will receive due to variations in paper/cardboard stock over time and the Purchaser accepts the variations in properties of the paper/cardboard used (including colour, texture, thickness & finish) as part of their invitation order relative to any Invitation Chateau samples provided to them
Invitation Chateau reserves the right to alter prices without notification.
